More than ten years ago, the Reston Chapter teamed with the Montgomery County, PA Chapter to help a little school in Jamaica get the supplies it desperately needed to educate its pupils. Today, while our two chapters have not waivered from our commitment to Mt. Zion School, this project has morphed to an organization-wide effort! Armed with art supplies, technology equipment, oral health care kits and a mission to transform lives. The national organization has joined our chapters on missions to enhance the health, welfare and future of Western Jamaican schools and medical community. During the trips, members opened a new library, delivered educational curricula, trained teachers and provided electronic tablets to students.
